DFC Accounting Privacy Policy

DFC Accounting is a private application operated by Desert Flying Club. This policy explains how DFC Accounting accesses and uses Google Drive information.

Google information accessed

DFC Accounting accesses files and folders inside the Google Drive location configured by Desert Flying Club. This may include file and folder names, identifiers, paths, file metadata, and file contents when an authorized user browses or downloads a document. The application may upload an Excel leaseback statement only after an authorized user reviews the statement and explicitly selects the option to save it to Google Drive.

How information is used

Google Drive information is used only to organize and manage Desert Flying Club aircraft documents and leaseback statements. Generated statements are placed under the applicable year and aircraft tail-number folder.

Storage and security

DFC Accounting may retain Drive file metadata and transfer history in its private accounting database. OAuth credentials are stored on the private application server and are restricted to the application service account. Access to DFC Accounting is limited to authorized Desert Flying Club personnel.

Sharing

Desert Flying Club does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Google information is not disclosed to third parties except as necessary for Google Drive to provide its service or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

Operational metadata is retained while needed for aircraft-document and accounting records. A Google account owner may revoke DFC Accounting access through Google Account security settings. Requests concerning retained application data may be sent to the contact address below.

Google API Services User Data Policy

DFC Accounting use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
